XS3mod is a generic sound player .Its capabilities can be extended by using plug'ins

It is available for NeXT computers,Intel based computer and SPARC,HP-PU.

# The soundfile formats supported are:

 		- ogg -> Ogg vorbis files

 		- 669, AMF, MOD, FAR, GDM, IMF, STM, S3M, STX, MTM, ULT, XM, IT, OKT, UNI files (partially DSM, MED, PTM)
 
 		- MP3, MP2, MPG -> MPEG layers III,II and I files

 		- MIDI, MUS (with MIDI sampled instrument 'patches')

 		- SID, DAT, C64, used on Commodore 64 (tm), C64 emulators and Sidplay

# The playlist formats supported are:

  		- modlist 	: internal format

  		- playlist 	: format of MMP.app from F.Siegert

# File supported for conversion :

		- MP3 		--> SND (.AU),raw(CD quality),wav


# A mixer panel is provided to play many song (up to 5) at the same time and manage sound volume between them.

# You've got a filesList manager , 3 graphical sound analyzers ,a pattern viewer for the modfiles , a seek function ,ID3Tag viewer and an equalizer for mpg files.

Check your favorite site to look for new plug'ins, like players or others...

This is the 1.70 release ,not tested on HP-PU.
