Intro:
MarginMaster is a financial calculator that will help you figure
out many different things concerning Markups and Profit Margins.

The application has 2 main areas for a grand total of 6 calculator
elements.

Selling Price Calcs:

Profit Margin Calc will help you find the selling price of an item
based on the inputed cost and gross profit margin percentage.

Markup Calc will help you find the selling price of an item based
on the inputed cost and markup percentage.


Find Calcs:

Find Profit Margin will help you find the gross profit margin percentage of an item based on selling price and cost.

Find Markup will help you find the markup percentage of an item based on cost and selling price. It can also give you the markup expressed as a percentage of the cost or selling price.

Find Discount will help you find the discount percentage of an item based on original price and the sale price. This one is great to figure out exactly how much your saving.

Find Cost will help you find the cost of an item based on selling price and markup percentage. It can also give you the cost based on the markup percentage of the cost or selling price.

This is the first OpenStep version of this application. I built it in two nights because I needed to review and update some price list for the store so this application can answer all my questions regarding price lists, markups, profit margins etc... Very useful for me I hope it will be useful for you also.


Installation:

WINNT/95:

1. Unpack the software distribution

	a. open a "Bourne Shell" window located in the Yellow Box menu
	b. change directory to location of distribution, for example, C:\temp
		cd C:\temp (type ls to have a directory listing.)
	c. Uncompress the gunzip distribution:
		gzip How.w.bs.gz
	d. untar the resulting uncompressed file:
		tar xvf How.w.bs.tar
