The two version of the Incomplete Guide to the Internet are being posted becuase the original version was only available in Macintosh BinHex format, and was written in Microsoft Word for the Mac. I have posted two versions for NeXT users: WriteNow format and PostScript format (use the Preview application to read the latter). To create these versions, I un BinHexed the original on my Macintosh, then used MacLinkPlus (I highly recommend it), to convert it to WriteNow format for the NeXT. Then I used the Save button in the Print panel to create the PostScript version of the file. I did not have the time to review the conversion page by page (over 280 pages!), but after a quickie review, it seemed all was where it was supposed to be, and several folks who got copies from me said it looked fine. Please not that I was not the original author. I merely converted it into the WriteNow and PostScript formats. Best of luck in learning how to use the Internet. --- Mike Shebanek Computing and Communications University of California, Riverside Riverside, CA. 92521 Phone (714) 787-3555 FAX (714) 787-4541 Internet mikes@velo.ucr.edu (NeXTMail Accepted)
