teTeX version 0.4 multi-architecture binary distribution
This package contains the full teTeX binary distribution for Nextstep
3.x. compiled as a multi-architecure binary for Motorola, Intel,
Sparc, and HP. The package installs in /usr/local/teTeX, and makes
links from the /usr/local/bin directory for all the executables,
links from the /usr/local/info for texinfo documentation, and links
from the /usr/local/man/* directories for the man pages. The
package is not currently relocatable. You will probably require root
permissions to install this package.
If you install teTeX for several users, tell your users to check
their environment by the following command if they run into
trouble:
unix prompt% texconfig confall
WARNING! This package is HUGE!
28.7 MB compressed (61.5 MB uncompressed).
This package contains many of the extras as well as the
TeXView for teTeX which will be linked to the /LocalApps directory.
This is merely a NeXT Intaller version of the original teTeX
distribution which can be found at:
which is maintained by Gregor Hoffleit
I offer this package completely without warranty of any kind. I
also can't offer support for it at this time. However, if you have
troubles with it, you're welcome to send me email at jak@indy.net,
and I may be able offer fixes or suggestions as time permits.
To the best of my knowledge, all the included material is covered
by the GNU GPL Version 2.
Good Luck!

Since the distribution is HUGE, you may wish to wait for the next
release. Of course, you might not want to wait long enough for
me to make the NeXT Installer Package. If so, you can always visit
Gregor's Website above for the original distribution!
